The team robo-builders went to LIU on Friday and gave a presentation on pressure sore or what's commonly known as bed sores. They presented infont of an audience varying from doctors to students persuing their masters degree and TD. When the students finished presenting they had a discussion with the audience and asnwered their questions.

ReplyDeleteRama I can see that those students are active learners inspired by a creative teacher. I like the idea that they were invited to present in front of adults; this will add to their self-confidence and will stimulate in them greater enthusiasm for further participation in projects and creations. Also, I believe that one of our goals as teachers is to connect a transfer of knowledge into authentic life so that students will sense the importance behind what they are learning; since they will need that, sooner or later, in their future life. I wish every teacher puts some effort to integrate interest in his/her students, so that, they will have a stronger reason to create. At last, I wish you and them further success.
